The 901-10735 is the female-socket version of this SMA plug. Its direct counterpart is the 901-10734, which is identical in every respect — same brass body, same 50-Ohm impedance, same 20 GHz ceiling, same 500-cycle life — except the centre contact is a male pin instead of a female socket. The choice between the two is dictated entirely by the mating half: a bulkhead jack with a female centre contact requires the male-pin plug (901-10734), while a jack with a male centre pin requires this female-socket plug (901-10735). Both use the same 3.3 mm cable group and the same solder termination procedure.
