75 Ohm MCX Plug for RG-179-Class Coax
The Amphenol RF 919-137P-71SX is an MCX-style plug (male pin) built for 75 Ohm signal paths — the impedance that matters for video, broadcast, and telecom, not the 50 Ohm version common in radio. It mates with any standard 75 Ohm MCX jack via a snap-on fastening, giving a positive lock without threads. This is the crimp-shield, solder-contact variant: you crimp the braid over the ferrule and solder the centre conductor into the pin. Rated to 6 GHz with 0.15 dB insertion loss — clean through C-band.
Cable Compatibility — No Guessing
This plug is dimensioned for RG-179, 179A, 179B, 187, 187A, Belden 9221, and M17/94-RG179. That covers the common 75 Ohm miniature coax types used in CCTV, SDI video, and baseband data links.
