The Amphenol RF 919-388P-51S is an MCX plug kit — a snap-on, 50 Ohm coaxial connector built for small-diameter cables in the RG-178 and RG-196 family.
This plug is designed for cable group RG-178, 178A, 178B, 196, 196A, and M17/93-RG178 — all 50 Ohm, small-diameter coax with a solid or stranded center conductor. The center contact is soldered, and the shield is terminated with a crimp ferrule. The snap-on fastening means no coupling nut to turn — push it onto the jack until it clicks, and you're mated.
The PTFE dielectric keeps signal loss low and impedance stable across the full temperature band.
