This is a field-installable kit, not a bare connector. The package includes three pieces: one SMPM jack body, one gold-plated beryllium copper centre contact, and one insulator made from polyetherimide (PEI) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The contact termination and shield termination are both solder — you tin the RG-405 centre conductor and the outer braid, then solder the contact and the shield cup.
This jack is designed for RG-405 (.085" /.086" semi-rigid) coaxial cable. The centre contact and insulator are sized for that cable group.
You solder the contact and shield termination yourself.
