SMPM Jack, Male Pin — 50 Ohm to 40 GHz, Gold Body
The 925-169J-51P: This is a smooth-bore variant — no snap-in bullet or extended interface — so it mates directly with standard SMPM plugs for blind-mate board-to-board or cable-to-board links in dense RF assemblies.
40 GHz Ceiling and the Edge-Launch Footprint
The 40 GHz frequency rating is the upper band for SMPM connectors. The board edge, cutout mounting with surface-mount shield termination is an edge-launch footprint.
Snap-On Mating and 100-Cycle Life
The snap-on fastening is the SMPM standard — no threads, no torque wrench, just push to mate and pull to unmate. For test or production-line applications that see hundreds of mates, a bullet-style SMPM interconnect with a higher cycle rating would be a better fit, but for a field-installed or module-level RF interconnect, 100 cycles is adequate.
Wide-Temperature Range and Dielectric Choice
The PTFE dielectric is the reason — it maintains stable dielectric constant across that range, which keeps the 50 Ohm impedance consistent. The brass body with gold finish adds corrosion resistance in humid or salt-fog environments, though the connector is not IP-rated for submersion.
