QMA Snap-On Plug for RG-Type Cables
The 930-114P-51A: It delivers 50 Ohm characteristic impedance and is rated to 6 GHz, covering the full L-band through C-band for wireless infrastructure, antenna feeds, and test port applications. The right-angle free-hanging body lets the cable exit perpendicular to the mating axis, saving depth in tight enclosures or panel-mount cable assemblies. The end cap and ferrule are pre-selected for the cable group, so there is no separate sourcing for hardware.
The 930-114P-51A is specified for RG-179, RG-188, and RG-316 double-braid cables, including M17/152-RD316. These are 75 Ohm and 50 Ohm cables with a nominal diameter around 2.5 mm — common in low-loss RF jumpers and test leads. The centre contact is soldered; the shield is crimped using the supplied ferrule. That is lower than a threaded SMA but acceptable for test-port and patch-panel duty where frequent reconnection is the norm.
Voltage and Frequency Ratings
Rated 480 V and 6 GHz maximum. The 480 V figure is the working voltage at sea level; at altitude or inside a sealed enclosure, derate per the standard RF voltage derating curve. The 6 GHz ceiling covers most 5G NR bands below 6 GHz, Wi-Fi 6E, and L-band satellite. Above 6 GHz the return loss degrades — stay within the rated band for specified VSWR.
