The F305-1A7H1-21022-E100 is a 22-position FFC/FPC connector from Amphenol ICC (FCI)'s Aorora F305 series, built on a 0.50 mm pitch. It uses a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) flip-lock actuator — open the black polyamide (PA9T) lever, insert the cable, close it. No insertion force on the contacts means the gold flash (3.00 µin) on the phosphor bronze terminals lasts the full 30 mating cycles without wiping wear. The housing is halogen-free LCP rated UL94 V-0, and the connector accepts FFC or FPC cables 0.30 mm or 0.33 mm thick. The right-angle surface-mount orientation keeps the mated height at 0.079" (2.00 mm) above the board — a low-profile fit for tight enclosures.
In a stacked-board design, that 2.00 mm plus the cable bend radius determines the clearance to the next board or enclosure wall.
The cable end type is straight or tapered — check your cable's end profile against the connector's insertion slot. Termination is solder-only — the contacts are bottom-contact style, meaning the cable pads face down toward the PCB.
