The F31G-1A7H1-11012: 0.50 mm pitch sets the FPC pad spacing; at 12 positions the connector body is roughly 8 mm wide. The 0.5 A per-contact rating means the total harness current is 6 A — verify each signal stays under that ceiling. Gold plating at 1.97 µinch over phosphor bronze keeps contact resistance low for the 30-cycle mating life. That cycle count suits a one-time assembly or infrequent disconnect; not for repeated field rework.
Locking and Retention — Board and Cable Hold
Slide lock secures the FPC without a secondary latch — adequate for moderate vibration in a fixed installation. Solder retention pads on the SMT feet keep the connector from lifting during reflow or under cable strain. Accepts FPC thickness 0.30 mm to 0.33 mm, straight or tapered cable end. The vertical one-sided contact style mates with a single-sided FPC.
