The F31G-1A7H1-11024 is a 24-position, 0.50 mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from the Aorora F31G series, designed for vertical SMD mounting. The slide lock actuator secures the cable in place, and the gold-plated contacts (1.97 µinch gold over nickel) are rated for 30 mating cycles — enough for field-service connections in consumer and industrial equipment where the cable is disconnected occasionally, not daily.
Signal-only duty with a 0.5 A ceiling
The 0.50 mm pitch limits trace width and spacing on the PCB, so the board layout engineer should route signals with controlled impedance if the application demands it, but the connector itself is not impedance-controlled.
