The F31G-1A7H1-11045: This is a 45-position FFC/FPC connector on 0.50 mm pitch, vertical orientation, one-sided contacts. The connector accepts FPC or FFC thicknesses of 0.30 mm and 0.33 mm, which covers the most common flexible circuit substrates used in display and sensor modules. The slide lock actuator secures the cable after insertion — push the lock forward and it clamps the FPC tail against the contacts. No secondary latch or adhesive needed; the lock holds against vibration and moderate cable pull. Gold flash plating (1.97 µinch) on phosphor bronze contacts gives 30 mating cycles. That's enough for a one-time assembly or occasional field service, but not for repeated disconnect-reconnect cycles. If your application requires frequent cable swaps, look at the thicker gold options in the Aorora family.
Solder Retention Pads and Reflow Anchor
In a board with high-vibration or frequent cable flex, those pads keep the connector from lifting off the solder pads. LCP handles reflow temperatures without warping and the V-0 rating means it won't sustain a flame inside the equipment enclosure.
The tape-and-reel package (also available in cut tape) suits automated pick-and-place assembly.
The 45-position version is the highest-density option in the group — the 12-position sibling (F31G-1A7H1-11012) and 10-position (F31G-1A7H1-11010) and 6-position (F31G-1A7H1-11006) are otherwise identical.
