32-Position ZIF on 0.50mm Pitch
The F32R-1A7H1-11032 is a 32-position FFC/FPC connector from the Amphenol ICC (FCI) Aorora F32R series, built on a 0.50mm pitch. The right-angle SMT orientation places the cable entry parallel to the board surface, keeping the z-height to 2.00mm above the PCB — a tight fit for stacked or enclosure-constrained layouts. Zero insertion force with a slide lock: the actuator slides to clamp the FFC without bending the contacts during insertion, and the lock holds the cable against pull-out forces. The bottom-contact design means the FFC pads face down toward the board.
Current, Temperature, and Contact Life
The 1.97µinch gold-over-nickel contact finish supports 30 mating cycles minimum — enough for a single product life where the cable is connected once during manufacturing and rarely touched in the field. In a service bay where the FFC is disconnected quarterly, that 30-cycle ceiling limits the connector to about 7.5 years of reconnect duty before the gold wears through.

Accepts FFC or FPC cables 0.30mm or 0.33mm thick. The straight cable end type and bottom-contact layout mean the FPC pads must face downward when inserted.
