6-Position FFC/FPC Connector with Bottom Contact ZIF
The F51L-1A7H1-11006: It uses a bottom-contact configuration with a flip-lock ZIF actuator, accepting FFC or FPC cables 0.30 mm or 0.33 mm thick. The bottom-contact design means the flex cable's conductor pads must face downward when inserted — a flipped flex shorts the wrong row. The flip lock secures the cable without secondary hardware, and the 30 mating cycles suit applications where the connector is disconnected infrequently, such as fixed internal harnesses in consumer electronics or industrial control modules.
Contact Finish, Mating Cycles, and Temperature Range
Gold contact finish at 1.97 µinch (0.050 µm) over phosphor bronze provides corrosion resistance for moderate-duty signal paths, though the thin flash limits mating cycle life to 30 cycles — adequate for one-time assembly or occasional field service, not for repeated cable swaps. Derate current above 105°C per the product drawing.
