Board Fit and Signal Path
The F51L-1A7H1-11024: The 2.54mm height above board keeps the cable close to the PCB — useful in tight z-height enclosures where a vertical connector would block airflow or clearance. Bottom-contact configuration with gold plating (1.97µin over nickel) on phosphor bronze contacts. At 0.5A per circuit the current is signal-level — the limiting factor is the fine-pitch contact beam, not the plating. The gold layer protects against corrosion in humid or lightly corrosive environments, though the 30-cycle rating means this is not a high-mate-duty connector.
ZIF Actuation and Cable Retention
Flip-lock ZIF actuator: the black PA9T lever pivots to clamp the FFC or FPC without insertion force. Accepts 0.30mm or 0.33mm thick flat flex cable with straight or tapered ends.
