Fakra Jack for RG-58 — Code K, 4 GHz, Kit Format
The Hirose FA1-NKSJ-C04-0 is a Code K Fakra jack (female socket) in the SMB/Fakra connector style, designed for crimp termination to RG-58 and similar 50 Ohm cables. It comes as a complete 5-piece kit: the connector body, a center contact, a ferrule, a housing, and a locking clip — everything needed for one field-ready termination. The dielectric is PTFE, giving stable RF performance across the -40°C to 115°C operating range. The Code K keying — identified by the curry-colored housing — prevents cross-mating with other Fakra color codes (e.g., Code Z in blue, Code A in black).
Cable Compatibility — RG-58 and Beyond
This jack is specced for RG-58, 58A, 58B, 58C, 141, 303, LMR-195, Belden B7806A, and 9907. That covers the common 50 Ohm thin coax used in GPS antennas, cellular modems, and short-run RF interconnects. The crimp shield termination and crimp contact termination keep assembly consistent across the cable group — no soldering required in the field.
