Fakra Quadraxial Plug, Code Z, Right-Angle PCB Mount
The FM4-NZRP-PCB-1: Code Z keying prevents cross-mating with other Fakra code variants in the same harness bundle — a standard practice in automotive antenna and infotainment systems where multiple coax runs share a connector cluster. The housing is brass and zinc alloy with a tin body finish, overmolded in a blue/water-colored LCP dielectric.
Code Z Keying and Mating Half
Code Z is one of several Fakra keying codes (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, Z). The FM4-NZRP-PCB-1 mates with the corresponding Code Z Fakra receptacle (female jack) — the keying geometry physically prevents inserting a Code Z plug into a Code A or Code B jack. This is critical in multi-coax harnesses where each signal path must land on the correct port.
