The Rosenberger HSDNARPPCB13A is a single-port HSD® Fakra quadraxial plug with male pin contacts, designed for 100 Ohm differential signal paths in automotive-grade Ethernet, LVDS, and camera/sensor links. The latch lock secures the mating half against vibration in the vehicle harness; the zinc alloy body with tin finish provides the shield continuity and environmental seal the Fakra interface demands.
What the 25 Mating Cycles Mean for Field Service
The 25 mating cycles rating is a field-service limit, not a production-line spec. Each connect/disconnect wears the gold-plated center contact and the latch lock detent. After 25 cycles the contact resistance may rise above the 100 Ohm differential pair tolerance, and the latch may no longer hold the full retention force. For a head-unit that stays mated for the vehicle's life, 25 cycles is plenty; for a diagnostic port that gets plugged every service visit, plan for a replacement connector at the harness end before the count runs out.
Temperature Range and Mounting Details
The black housing and Code A keying prevent cross-mating with other Fakra variants in a multi-connector harness.
