Sealed USB-A for field wiring

The MRU-AM21-4000 is a USB-A plug in Amphenol ICC's MRU series, built for environments that need an IP67/IP68 seal and a circular bayonet coupling that locks the mated pair against vibration and moisture ingress. It carries 4 contacts rated 1.5 A, gold-plated, with a shielded steel/stainless shell and a UL94 V-0 rated housing. Operating temperature spans -45°C to 85°C.

Termination is via a terminal block — no crimp tool needed; the field wiring goes straight into the screw clamp. The plug is free-hanging (in-line), mates with the matching MRU receptacle, and is rated for 1500 mating cycles. USB 2.0 signalling is supported through the shielded shell and gold-plated contacts, keeping the signal path clean in industrial or outdoor runs.
