The MUSBE15104 is the 5-contact IP67-sealed member of Amphenol ICC's MUSB mini AB receptacle line, carrying USB 2.0 signal integrity through a shielded copper-alloy shell.
Sealed interface and mating durability
The IP67 rating — dust-tight and waterproof — comes from the flange-mount horizontal panel fit; the O-ring seals at the panel face, not the thread, so the seal holds only when the mating plug is fully engaged. At 5000 mating cycles, the gold-on-copper-alloy contacts outlast standard USB receptacles by a factor of 5–10×, matching the reconnect duty of field-service equipment or portable instrumentation.
