Panel-mount USB-C with IP67 seal
The MUSBR-M5C1-M0 is a 24-contact USB Type-C receptacle from Amphenol ICC's MUSBR series, designed for panel mounting with a vertical flange and through-hole solder termination. The shielded steel and stainless shell, combined with the IP67 rating, seals the interface against dust and temporary immersion when mated with a matching IP67-rated plug.
Current rating per contact group
The USB-C specification assigns current limits by contact group: 0.25 A for the sideband and configuration pins, 1.25 A for the standard signal contacts, and 5 A for the VBUS and GND power contacts. The 24-contact layout follows the USB Type-C standard, with the power contacts carrying the higher current rating while the signal and sideband contacts operate at lower current.
