14-Position, 0.50mm Pitch FFC/FPC Connector with ZIF Slide Lock
It uses a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) slide-lock actuator to secure the cable — no insertion force on the contacts, just slide the lock home. The contacts are top-side, gold-plated, rated 0.5A per circuit at 50V, and the housing is black LCP with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. The right-angle SMT termination suits board-edge routing, and the gold contact finish supports 20 mating cycles minimum, which covers field-service reconnects without degrading contact resistance.
ZIF Actuator and Cable Fit
The slide-lock actuator (brown PPS, glass-filled) accepts FFC or FPC cables with a tapered end and a thickness of 0.33mm. The ZIF mechanism means the contacts don't wipe until the actuator is closed, so the gold-on-phosphor-bronze contact beams see no wear during cable insertion — only during the final lock stroke. This preserves the 20-cycle rating across repeated cable swaps.
