ZIF Slide Lock and Cable Fit
The SFV15R-1STE1HLF: The slide-lock actuator accepts FFC or FPC with a notched cable end type and a thickness of 0.30 mm or 0.33 mm. Mating cycles are rated at 20 — this is a single-mate or infrequent-service connector. In a consumer device assembled once and never reconnected, the cycle count is irrelevant; in a test fixture or field-replaceable module, it is the limiting wear parameter.
Surface-Mount Right-Angle Footprint
The housing is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP), glass-filled and halogen-free, rated UL94 V-0. The actuator is brown polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), also glass-filled and halogen-free.
Bottom vs Top Contact — SFV15R-1STE1HLF vs SFV15R-2STE1HLF
The only functional difference between SFV15R-1STE1HLF and SFV15R-2STE1HLF is the contact side: bottom vs top. Pitch, position count, current rating, voltage, ZIF slide lock, and mating cycles are identical. The PCB pad layout is mirrored — a board designed for one will not accept the other without a layout change. If the BOM calls for 14 positions instead of 15, SFV14R-1STE1HLF is the direct drop-in — same pitch, same bottom contacts, same ZIF slide lock, same 0.30 mm/0.33 mm cable thickness.
