The contacts are on the bottom side, so the cable inserts face-down against the PCB.
The flip-lock actuator (black PPS, glass-filled, halogen-free) is a zero-insertion-force mechanism: open the actuator, slide the cable in, close it down.
The flip-lock actuator opens upward, allowing the FFC or FPC to slide in with zero insertion force. Once the cable is seated, the actuator closes down and locks it in place. No secondary latch or tool is needed.
It accepts 0.30 mm thick FFC or FPC with a notched or tabbed cable end. The contacts are on the bottom side, so the cable inserts face-down.
