Cable Fit and Termination Checklist
The top-contact arrangement means the cable's conductive pads face upward toward the actuator — a common orientation error is inserting the cable upside down, which lifts the contacts and opens the circuit.
Materials and Environmental Range
The actuator is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), also glass-filled and halogen-free. Tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts are cost-effective for low-cycle applications. Tin is not rated for frequent mating — the 20-cycle limit is the practical ceiling before contact resistance rises.
