31-position FPC connector with ZIF slide lock
It uses a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) actuator with a slide lock to secure the FPC after insertion.
The 0.50 mm pitch sets the board footprint: each contact occupies 0.50 mm of linear space along the connector body, so the 31-position connector spans about 15.5 mm of board edge. This pitch is standard for high-density FPC routing in compact consumer and industrial electronics. The right-angle SMT termination requires a reflow solder profile compatible with the LCP housing's UL94 V-0 rating. The housing material is halogen-free, which may simplify compliance with environmental regulations. No special shimming or adapter is needed.
