34-Position Signal Density, ZIF with Slide Lock
The SFV34R-2STE1HLF: The zero-insertion-force (ZIF) mechanism with a brown slide lock actuator lets you insert the flex cable with no force and then lock it in place — the slide lock holds the FPC against the top contacts without a secondary latch. The 20 mating cycles are fine for assembly and occasional field service, not daily reconnection.
The top-contact ZIF design means the flex circuit's conductive pads face upward when the connector is on the board. The slide lock actuator is brown — a visual cue on the assembly line that the lock is engaged.
