0.50 mm Pitch, 8-Position ZIF — Board-Fit and Signal Duty
It uses a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) bottom-contact design with a slide lock, terminated by reflow soldering to the PCB.
Mating Cycles and Field Service Reality
The slide-lock actuator secures the FPC without a secondary latch, so vibration resistance is moderate. For a fixed installation inside an enclosure, it's fine; for a portable device that sees repeated flex, the connector is not the weak point — the FPC itself is.
FPC Thickness and Cable Compatibility
Accepts FPC thicknesses of 0.30 mm and 0.33 mm, with straight or tapered cable ends. The bottom-contact ZIF design means the FPC inserts with the contacts facing down; the slide lock clamps the cable without stressing the pads.
