The SFW10R-1STE9LF: The ZIF mechanism lets you insert the cable without force — the slide lock then clamps the contacts against the FPC pads, holding them in place against vibration and cable tug. ZIF Slide Lock: One Motion to Seat and Lock
The slide lock is the primary retention feature — push it forward after inserting the FPC, and it clamps the contacts onto the pads. There's no secondary TPA or latch; the slide lock alone holds the cable against vibration and light pull. In a board that sees occasional handling, it's enough. The mated height above board is 0.106" (2.70 mm) — tight enough for slim enclosures but still leaves room for the cable bend radius.
