12-Position Vertical ZIF for Signal-Level FFC
The SFW12S-2STME1LF is a 12-position, 1.00mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from Amphenol ICC's SFW series. The vertical SMT orientation and 5.30mm height above board suit tight z-height stacks where the FFC enters perpendicular to the PCB.
Surface-mount solder tails — the 1.00mm pitch sets the pad layout on the PCB. The ZIF actuator is brown thermoplastic (UL94 V-0), and the contact beams are tin-plated phosphor bronze. The FFC insertion thickness is 0.33mm; the connector accepts one-sided FFC with contacts on a single side, vertical orientation. No secondary lock or TPA — the ZIF clamp provides the terminal retention.
