The actuator and housing are molded from glass-filled PPS (UL94 V-0), providing dimensional stability and flame resistance. Gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts on the bottom side mate with the FPC pads — the gold finish supports 20 mating cycles minimum, adequate for low-cycle field-service connections where the FPC is inserted once during build and rarely reconnected.

Cable and Termination Specs

The contacts are solder-terminated to the PCB — no crimp tooling required. The slide lock secures the actuator after the FPC is inserted, providing positive retention against vibration.
