1.00 mm Pitch ZIF — Board Layout Fit
The SLW4S-1C7LF: It uses a zero-insertion-force (ZIF) contact design with a slide lock to secure the flex circuit after insertion — no prying force on the FPC during assembly, and the lock prevents the cable from backing out under vibration. Mounting is through-hole with kinked pins for solder retention. Tin is the standard finish for cost-sensitive, low-cycle applications — the 20 mating cycles listed are typical for a field-serviceable but not repeatedly cycled interconnect.
RoHS compliant.
Position Count Comparison: 4 vs 5 vs 6 vs 7
The SLW-S series offers identical 0.039" (1.00 mm) pitch, 0.217" (5.50 mm) height, ZIF with slide lock, through-hole kinked-pin termination, and tin contacts across 4 through 7 positions. The SLW5S-1C7LF (5 positions), SLW6S-1C7LF (6 positions), and SLW7S-1C7LF (7 positions) are drop-in replacements in the same footprint — only the position count changes.
