7-Position FPC Connector with Slide-Lock ZIF

The SLW7S-1C7LF is a 7-position FFC/FPC connector from the SLW-S series, using a 0.039" (1.00 mm) pitch and a vertical through-hole mounting orientation. The ZIF mechanism uses a slide lock rather than a flip actuator — the FPC slides in and the lock slides over to clamp the contacts, which means no actuator to break off during handling.

FPC Thickness and Board Fit

The contact beam is designed for a 0.33 mm thick FPC. A 0.30 mm FPC will lose some contact wipe force; a 0.35 mm may overstress the beam.

The SLW-S series offers the same 1.00 mm pitch, vertical orientation, and slide-lock ZIF in 6-position (SLW6S-1C7LF) and 5-position (SLW5S-1C7LF) variants.
