SMP Plug for 0.047" Semi-Rigid Cable — 50 Ohm, 26.5 GHz
The snap-on fastening gives a quick blind-mate connection, standard for SMP interfaces in dense RF panels where you don't have room for a wrench. The dielectric is PTFE, which holds a stable dielectric constant up through the rated frequency. Shield termination is solder, so the cable braid gets a solid RF ground at the connector body.
This connector is built for 0.047" semi-rigid cable.
Materials and Construction
Beryllium copper for both the body and center contact gives this connector a mechanical edge over brass-bodied SMPs in applications that see frequent mating cycles or vibration. The PTFE dielectric is a proven RF material — low loss tangent, stable permittivity, and it handles the full temperature range without creeping.
It is supplied in Bulk packaging, so it ships loose in a bag or box, not on tape and reel.
