9-Position Right-Angle D-Sub with Board Locks
It carries stamped copper alloy signal contacts rated 6.5 A per circuit, with the current limit set by the contact beam and housing thermal rise rather than the contact cross-section. The shell is steel with a DE (E) layout — the standard 9-pin D-Sub footprint — and the mating-side flange carries female 4-40 screwlocks, so the mating plug is secured against vibration loosening in field-service or industrial cabinet use. Board locks on the mounting face anchor the connector during soldering and resist shear force from cable strain after the mating plug is screwed in.
Board Lock Anchoring and Right-Angle Routing
The 0.409-inch backset spacing (10.40 mm) sets the distance from the PCB to the mounting flange face, which determines the clearance needed behind the panel.
