2.00 mm Pitch Wire-to-Board Receptacle Housing
The Hirose A4B-5S-2C is a 5-circuit, single-row receptacle housing from the A4 series, built for wire-to-board crimp interconnect at a 0.079" (2.00 mm) pitch. The housing is moulded in black polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and ships in bulk. Typical use is as the receptacle half of a Hirose A4-series wire-to-board connection, mating with a through-hole or SMT header on the PCB.
The Contacts-Not-Included Gotcha
This housing ships empty. The crimp terminals are a separate order — make sure the BOM includes the matching female socket contacts for the wire gauge you are running. The 2.00 mm pitch means the header footprint is tighter than a standard 2.54 mm pitch, so confirm the PCB layout matches before committing.
It is not rated for engine-bay heat or continuous high-temperature industrial ovens. The housing is ROHS3 compliant.
