The Hirose BM28N0.6-60DS/2-0.35V(53) is a 60-position receptacle from the BM28 series, designed for board-to-board mezzanine stacking at a 0.6 mm mated stack height. The 0.014" (0.35 mm) pitch and dual-row layout pack 60 circuits into a compact footprint — the tight pitch drives the PCB land pattern, so the board layout needs to match the 0.35 mm pad spacing exactly.
This receptacle mates with the matching BM28 series header, specifically the BM28N0.6-60DP/2-0.35V(53) — a 60-position header with outer shroud contacts at the same 0.35 mm pitch and a 0.018" (0.46 mm) height above board, giving the 0.6 mm total stack height. The BM28 series is active in production, so there is no last-time-buy pressure.
