The Hirose DF12NB-20DS-0.5V(51) is a 20-position receptacle from the DF12 series, designed for board-to-board mezzanine stacking. The connector sits 0.106" (2.70mm) above the board and supports mated stacking heights of 3.5mm, 4mm, and 5mm, giving the board designer flexibility in choosing the matching pin header height without changing the receptacle.
Stack Height and Footprint Planning
The 2.70mm board-mounted height combined with the 3.5mm, 4mm, or 5mm mated stack heights means the matching header must be selected to achieve the desired board-to-board gap.
