60-Position, 0.50mm Pitch Mezzanine Header — Board Stacking at 5mm or 6mm
The Hirose DF17(2.0)-60DP-0.5V(57) is a 60-position, dual-row surface-mount header from the DF17 series, designed for board-to-board mezzanine stacking. The connector stands 0.169" (4.30mm) above the board and supports mated stacking heights of 5mm and 6mm, giving the enclosure designer two z-height options without changing the header. Outer shroud contacts provide mechanical alignment during mating, which is critical for protecting the fine-pitch SMT joints from shear stress.
Without these, the 0.50mm pitch leaves little margin for tombstoning or skew. The Tape & Reel packaging (Cut Tape also available) feeds directly into automated assembly lines.
