The Hirose DF17(3.0)-30DS-0.5V(57) is a 30-position receptacle with center strip contacts, part of the DF17 series designed for parallel board-to-board stacking. It accepts mating headers that yield three mated stacking heights — 5mm, 5.5mm, or 7mm — so one receptacle can serve different board gaps in the same assembly.
At 0.50mm pitch, the escape routing under the connector needs micro-vias or very fine trace widths — plan for at least one via per pad on the inner row. The 3.50mm height above board gives clearance for passives on the underside of the mezzanine card.
