0.50 mm Pitch, 70-Position Board-to-Board Receptacle
The Hirose DF17(4.0)-70DS-0.5V(57) is a 70-position receptacle with center strip contacts, part of the DF17 series designed for parallel board-to-board stacking. Board guides on the housing help align the mating header during assembly — useful when the stack height is tight and you can't see the pins.
Stack Height Options and Fit
This receptacle supports mated stacking heights of 6mm, 6.5mm, and 8mm — the height above board of the receptacle itself is 0.177" (4.50mm). The mating header's height determines the final stack, so match the header part number to your board spacing. The 0.50mm pitch keeps the overall width manageable even at 70 positions; routing two traces between pads is doable with a standard 0.5 oz copper layer.
