20-Position Receptacle Housing for 1.00 mm Pitch Harnesses
The Hirose DF20A-20DS-1C is a 20-position receptacle housing from the DF20 series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-board or wire-to-wire connections at a 1.00 mm pitch. It accepts crimp-terminated female socket contacts (sold separately) and locks into the matching pin header for a secure, vibration-resistant mate.
Contacts Not Included — Order Terminals Separately
This housing ships as an empty shell — the crimp contacts are ordered separately. The DF20 series uses a dedicated female socket terminal that must be crimped onto wire before insertion.
The 20 positions are arranged in two rows with 1.00 mm pitch within and between rows. That 1.00 mm centreline drives the mating header footprint — the board-side pads must match this spacing exactly. The dual-row layout keeps the connector compact while giving you 20 circuits in a package that fits where a single-row 20-position would be too long.
