Hirose DF3-7EP-2C 7-Position Plug Housing
The Hirose DF3-7EP-2C is a 7-circuit plug housing from the DF3 series, designed as the male side of a wire-to-board interconnect. This is the plug half that mates with the corresponding DF3 series receptacle header mounted on the PCB.
At 7 positions, this housing sits between the 6-position DF3-6EP-2C and the 8-position DF3-8EP-2C in the same DF3 series. All three share the identical 2.00 mm pitch, single-row layout, free-hanging crimp design, and active lifecycle status. The choice between them is strictly a circuit-count match to the BOM — no footprint or tooling change beyond the number of cavities.
The crimp termination allows field-assembly of discrete wires to the exact length needed, which is standard for harness builds where the PCB-mount header is fixed and the wire bundle is routed to it.
