The Hirose DF37B-40DP-0.4V(53) is a 40-position header from the DF37 series, designed for board-to-board mezzanine stacking. It uses a 0.016" (0.40mm) pitch in a dual-row layout, with the contacts arranged as outer shroud contacts — the mating interface expects the matching DF37 receptacle with inner contacts. The header sits 0.030" (0.75mm) above the board surface and achieves a mated stacking height of 0.98mm with its receptacle counterpart, making it suitable for tight z-height budgets in compact portable electronics, camera modules, and handheld devices where every tenth of a millimeter counts.
