Panel Mount and Termination
The snap-in panel mount is the key mechanical feature here. It lets you fix the housing to a cutout in the enclosure or chassis before wiring, which simplifies assembly when the connector needs to stay put during cable dressing. No soldering or PCB footprint needed on the plug side.
Temperature Range and Material
The nylon absorbs some moisture over time, but the wide temperature window means the housing won't embrittle in cold start-up or soften under sustained enclosure heat. This is a standard nylon, not a high-temperature variant — keep the ambient below the 105°C ceiling.
