Stacking Height Selection
This plug supports six mated stacking heights: 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, and 4mm. That range covers slim phone-thickness builds up to moderate board spacing where passives or shielding cans sit between the PCBs. The 0.045" (1.14mm) height above board of the plug itself is fixed — the variation comes from the matching DF40 receptacle height. Pick the receptacle that gives the total stack your enclosure needs.
