30-Position Socket Housing for 1.00mm Pitch Wire-to-Board Applications
The Hirose DF50S-30DS-1C is a 30-position socket housing from the DF50 series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) wire-to-board interconnects. It accepts female socket crimp terminals and mates with the corresponding DF50 series pin header to form a compact, latch-secured connection. The 1.00mm pitch and dual-row layout suit space-constrained harness assemblies where board real estate is at a premium. Key features include a latch holder fastening mechanism for positive retention against vibration, a white PBT insulation housing rated for -35°C to 85°C operation, and ROHS3 compliance. The housing is supplied in bulk packaging; crimp terminals are ordered separately.
Compatible Contacts and Termination
This housing accepts female socket contacts terminated via crimp. The contacts are not included — order the matching DF50 series crimp terminals separately. The crimp termination requires the correct applicator and die set for the wire gauge range specified in the terminal datasheet; section a sample crimp to confirm strand capture.
