The 2.00 mm pitch and 2.00 mm row spacing keep the footprint compact — 20 circuits in a dual-row arrangement that fits a standard 2.00 mm grid on the PCB. The 0.079" (2.00 mm) pitch is tight enough for moderate-density wiring but still leaves room for the crimp barrel and wire strain relief on 22-28 AWG leads.
The snap-in panel mount means the housing clips into a rectangular cutout in the chassis or enclosure wall. This is a common arrangement for power supply or control box interfaces where the harness connects to a fixed panel header — the housing stays put, the wire side gets unplugged for service.
Position Count Variants in the DF51 Series
The DF51-20DEP-2C is the 20-position dual-row member. For lower circuit counts, the series includes the 4-position DF51-4DEP-2C and the 6-position DF51-6DEP-2C, both sharing the same 2.00 mm pitch, dual-row layout, panel mount, and detent lock. A single-row variant, the DF51-4EP-2C, is also available for 4-position applications where board space is tighter. The 20-position version is the highest-circuit dual-row option in this DEP subfamily.
