3-Position Receptacle Housing for the DF59 Series
The housing carries a 3 A per contact current rating at 230 V, which is typical for internal power or signal distribution in consumer and industrial gear. The natural PBT housing with swing-lock fastening gives a positive mate that holds under vibration without needing a secondary latch.
The DF59 series offers this 3-position housing alongside 2-position (DF59-2P-2C) and 4-position (DF59-4P-2C) variants at the same 2.00 mm pitch, 3 A rating, and swing-lock retention.
This is a receptacle housing only — it requires a separately ordered socket contact (crimp terminal) to function. The housing accepts the Hirose DF59 series crimp socket, terminated to wire before insertion. The swing lock engages with the mating DF59 series plug header (such as the DF59-3P-2SP(50) shorting plug or a standard plug) to secure the mated pair.
