This is standard for Hirose DF5 housings; the same applies to the 16-position DF5A-16DS-5C and the single-row 10-position DF5A-10S-5C. The latch lock on this 2-row version provides a more secure mate than the latch holder on the 6-position DF5A-6DS-5C, which uses a different fastening type.
