4-Position Plug Housing for the DF62 Series
The Hirose DF62B-4EP-2.2C(10) is a 4-position plug housing from the DF62 series, built for wire-to-board or wire-to-wire crimp interconnect in compact harness assemblies. It uses a 2.20 mm pitch with two rows spaced 0.079" (2.00 mm) apart, giving you a dense but serviceable layout for signal or moderate power circuits. This is a male pin housing designed for free-hanging (in-line) mounting, so it terminates to a cable end and mates with the corresponding DF62 receptacle.
What the 2.20 mm Pitch and Latch Holder Mean for the Build
The two-row arrangement with 4 positions gives you a 2x2 layout, which is common for small sensor or actuator harnesses where you need a return and a signal pair. That latch is what keeps the connection closed under vibration or cable tug — it is not a screw-lock, but it holds well enough for applications inside an enclosure or on a moving assembly where the harness sees occasional flex.
Factor those into the BOM; the housing alone will not complete the interconnect.
How the 4-Position Sits Against the 3-Position Sibling
The DF62B-3EP-2.2C(10) is the 3-position version of this same plug housing — same 2.20 mm pitch, same white PBT, same latch holder and crimp termination. If your BOM calls for 4 circuits, this 4-position housing is the correct match; the 3-position will not fit a 4-circuit receptacle.
