Hirose DM3AT-SF-PEJM5 — microSD Push-Push Connector, 1.68 mm Above Board
The Hirose DM3AT-SF-PEJM5 is a surface-mount, right-angle microSD card connector from the DM3 series. It accepts a Secure Digital - microSD™ card and combines the connector and ejector in one body — a push-push mechanism means you push the card in to seat it and push again to release it, no sliding latch to fumble with. The 10 (8 + 2) position layout follows the standard microSD pinout: eight signal/data lines plus two dedicated power contacts.
Right-Angle SMT Footprint and 1.68 mm Profile
Height above board is 0.066" (1.68 mm), which keeps the connector low enough for most compact enclosures; the card itself will protrude beyond the connector body by its own thickness. The mounting feature is Normal, Standard - Top, meaning the card sits above the PCB with no recessed or inverted loading.
Integrated Card-Detect Switch
A built-in switch contact (listed under Features as Switch) provides a separate electrical signal that changes state when a card is fully inserted. This lets the host controller detect card presence without polling the data lines or adding a discrete microswitch — a standard requirement in embedded designs that need to wake the card interface only when a card is seated.
No last-time-buy or end-of-life notice is on record. No official replacement or cross-reference has been published; the DM3AT-SF-PEJM5(40) and DM3AT-SF-PEJM5(41) are packaging variants (Digi-Reel®) of the same base product, not functional substitutes.
